Chidambaram's gives it away on NDTV

It was a very cosy interview as expected on NDTV. No inconvenient questions and no cutting him short while he was still replying. The impossible Burkha Dutt was very nice with Chidambaram.
Nonethless, Chidambaram gave it away. When asked about why Hadley was not caught when he visited India, Chidambaram says - he was having American citizenship, he was having an American name, so he was not suspected.  That means, people of only one particular kind of name can be suspected!

Devil learning Sanskrit

With reference to TOI report on 3-11-2009 glorifying muslims learning Sanskrit.
'for far too long, the brahmins held Sanskrit captive. They spread the lie that the language would be ruined if non-brahmins learnt it' says 75 year old Birajdar. Later he admits to learning Sanskrit from a Brahmin!
That means, this man learns Sanskrit from a Brahmin and abuses Brahmins. Such a thankless fellow.

Saving a fugitive?

As per NDTV's sources, the govt is planning to 'remove' legal hurdles in MF Hussain's return to India.
Now, what are the legal hurdles? the cases? That means the guy has been running away from law?
That means the govt is trying to help someone who is running away from law?!

NDTV's Skullduggery

1. Inspite of her best efforts, Burkha Dutt failed to put words into the mouth of Brajesh Mishra.
Nonethless, she headlines the interview as "Yes, Advani lied: Brajesh Mishra". (27-8-2009)
After carefully watching the interview i failed to see where Mr. Mishra used those words.
After seeing what Advani said to crook Sekhar Gupta and what Misra told, one would wonder what the Kandahar controversy is all about.

2. Prannoy Roy suddenly discovered the virtues of Mr. Khanduri. Did he care to praise the BJP cheif minister when he was in power?
Still, Prannoy Roy inspite of all his attempts, failed to put words into the mouth of Mr. Khanduri.

Murder comes in handy for NDTV

It was murder of a Naga girl reportedly by a maniac. It is hard to believe that it can be used as a proof of racism. But NDTV does just that. It uses that occasion to project a non-existent racism in India. In future it will be used to justify racist attacks against Indians in Australia. ELM does just that (refer 20-8-2009).

Times of India justifies Australian Racism

In an editorial on 30-7-09, the Times of India tried to justify Australian racism. It somehow brings up the issue of Dalits not being appointed as cooks by upper castes.
Where is the comparison between a dalit not being selected as cook and Indians being beaten up the streets of Australia?
The paper followed this up with an article which tries to show Australia in good light and racism as marginal. No such concession for India.
Ofcourse, we can not expect anything better from a British newspaper.

Mecaulay's Indian Express

The new Indian Express lists 'litigious nature of Indians' as one of he two main factors responsible for the 'scourge' of 3 crore pending cases in Courts. (editorial on 18-8-2009)
Now, can Indians be called as litigious? Are they more litigious than Americans who go to court at the drop of a hat? It is well known that our people avoid going to Police and Courts, because of the unfriendly nature of these institutions. They go there only as a last resort or don't go there even as a last resort. How can you call them litigious?
It unfortunate that such mediocre and un-indian fellows are editors of our newspapers influencing lakhs of people.
If there are pending cases, it can only be ascribed to the faulty politico-legal system we have inherited from the British. The system was created to suppress Indians and not to facilitate.
